On the forefront in the fight against cancer
Funded in part by donations from the community and dedicated in March 1997, the Cancer Treatment Center at Havasu Regional Medical Center is a state-of-the-art facility that’s on the forefront in the fight against cancer. HRMC expanded the Cancer Treatment Center in 2017, adding 6000 square feet, increasing our ability to care for patients in the community. Treating patients from all over the region, the Center offers both Radiation Oncology and Hematology Oncology services in one convenient location on the campus of Havasu Regional Medical Center.
Next Steps
Radiation Therapy
Radiation Therapy is a cancer treatment option which utilizes various forms of radiation to localize and kill malignant cells, Our Varian Linear Accelerator radiation machine is capable of delivering Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT). IMRT is a precise and sophisticated technique which enables clinicians to escalate the dose of cancer-killing radiation to tumors while minimizing complications in surrounding health tissue.
HRMC has recently obtained approval and has begun the process of installing a new True Beam Edge Linear Accelerator which will provide an even higher level of quality treatment for our patients as well as offer new procedures that are not currently available in Mohave County.
Our Radiation Oncologist and staff offer a positive, healing environment and superior cancer care to those on their journey through treatment and recovery. For more information about Radiation Oncology click here.
